About this event

  • Event lasts 5 hours

Join us for a weekend event birding at Magee Marsh, one of THE best sites in North America to see warblers and other songbird migrants—sometimes up close and personal. Magee Marsh , situated on the southern shore of Lake Erie, is a prime stopover for North Anerucan Warblers during spring migration. This is a great opportunity! to have expert Detroit Bird Alliance birders as your guide to identify the many species of warblers that visit Magee Marsh. In recent years we have also had nesting Bald Eagles, Herons, Woodcock, and Screech Owls.

We will meet at the West end of the parking lot at the Magee Marsh Boardwalk. Get there early or you may have to park far away! There are "port-o-johns" in the parking lot.
