About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Though Mason Mill Park closes at dusk, Ranger Jonah invites you to join him to watch the full lunar eclipse happening in the early morning hours of Friday, March 14.

We'll watch the eclipse from the South Peachtree Creek Trail bridge over the railroad tracks. Signs posted will lead you to the spot - a 0.1 mile walk from the parking lot. This is a "drop in" event, so come anytime between 1:30 am - 3:30 am. The maximum eclipse will occur around 3:00 am.

Dress warmly, bring a warm beverage, a flashlight, and binoculars if you want them.

Park near the South Peachtree Creek trailhead near the Mason Mill Tennis Center (McConnell Dr & Mason Mill Rd). Please register so we know how many people to expect.

This is not a program that is appropriate for dogs, so please leave your pup at home.
