Join us for a visit to Muir Woods on Saturday, March 22nd at 9:00am. We will meet at the Larkspur Ferry Terminal and depart to Muir Woods. We will likely return by 3pm, but we will send a rough agenda via email closer to the date for a more accurate timeframe. Must RSVP to participate and reserve a bus spot. This is a FREE event!
This is a family friendly event! Walk among old growth coast redwoods, cooling their roots in the fresh water of Redwood Creek and lifting their crowns to reach the sun and fog. Federally protected as a National Monument since 1908, this primeval forest is both refuge and laboratory, revealing our relationship with the living landscape. What will you discover in Muir Woods?
Things to note:
- We'll provide snacks, and water.
- Please bring long pants, closed-toe shoes, layers for changing weather, water bottle, sun protection, camera/phone camera, and money if you would like to visit the gift store.
Required waivers and forms from the National Park Service and Latino Outdoors will be sent out a week before the event! Please keep an eye out for them!
