Are you ready to put your hiking skills to the test? If so, join us as we hike one of East Bay's most popular and most strenuous trails, the Mission Peak Trail Loop. Anybody that joins this hike should be aware that this hike is rated as “STRENUOUS”. This hike involves hiking uphill for an extended period of time, and gaining altitude very quickly. The footing uphill and downhill will be a mixture of gravel, loose soil, and rocky sections. The hike is a 6-mile loop with a 2,152ft elevation gain. Other details of the trail include no shade, possible encounters with cows and strong winds.

Parking: Free parking.
Amenities: Bathrooms.
Gear: Bring a long sleeve shirt, long pants, a sweater or windbreaker jacket and other warm layers, closed toe shoes or boots, a beanie or a hat. Hiking poles are recommended. Binoculars are optionals. Bring plenty of water to the hike, at least 2 bottles per person.
Snacks will be provided by Latino Outdoors. Feel free to bring your own lunch or preferred snacks.
