About this event

Join us to learn new tips and tricks to enhance your child's literacy skills. The strategies introduced in our seminar will assist parents/teachers with supporting their student(s) with applying new skills, building vocabulary, improving critical thinking and reading comprehension...all while providing supplemental practice.

Our activities also seek to provide a healthy curiosity and/or challenge that is often identified with an effective connection to the conent. Finding moments to reinforce learning provides opportunities to build mastery, interest, and student confidence. All three have a positive impact on student peformance.

Many strategies can be used in a non-structured environment such as, on a car / bus ride, over lunch, when shopping in a store, [playing board games, or watching television at home. Others might need some scheduled time or structured space.
