What is the Beer and Wine Gala?

Light Up Ahwatukee's Beer & Wine Gala is one of two mainstay events held each year following Light Up Ahwatukee Holiday Festival. This year’s annual fundraising event features Beer, Wine, Food, Live Entertainment, Wine Pull, Raffles, and Casino Gaming.

When is the Spring event in 2025?

This year’s 21+ Light Up Ahwatukee Beer & Wine Gala will be held on Friday, April 4th from 6-10pm at the Foothills Golf Club in Ahwatukee.  VIP Entry is from 5-6PM with an added hour of festivities.

Where is the event held?

The 2025 Spring event will be held at Foothills Golf Club at 2201 E Clubhouse Dr, which is located just off 24th St and Liberty Lane in the Ahwatukee Foothills of Phoenix, Arizona.

How many people do you expect to attend?

Based upon past attendance, we anticipate 300-500 people at the Beer and Wine Gala.

Is there Handicap Accessibility parking?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we have a designated number of handicap spaces available at Foothills Golf Club in the East parking lot. Please look for handicap parking signage.

Is there an ATM on site?

Accepted Answer

Yes, just in case you forget your cash, The Foothills Golf Club has an ATM on site, and we are also able to process credit card purchases.

Are you able to purchase additional casino money on site?

Accepted Answer

Yes, absolutely. You can purchase additional casino money at check-in or throughout multiple stations during the event itself.

What do you do with casino winnings?

Accepted Answer

Great question! You turn your casino winnings into raffle tickets which can be placed in several different high price raffle prizes available. Winners will be drawn and announced on the outside patio at 9:30PM. *You do not need to be present to win.

I would love to contribute to your $750 raffle prizes? How can I donate?

Accepted Answer

Guests receive $100 casino cash for GA and $200 for VIP which turn into raffle tickets. We expect to have 8-10 prizes of quality items and experiences. These are themed prizes curated by Kimberly Bolton. If you have donation items, please e-mail Kimberly@lightupahwatukee.org to coordinate

Is there a dress code for this event?

While there isn't an official dress code, we suggest cocktail attire. This year's theme is Crystal Moon  - with black and silver as our highlighted colors for the evening.

Is there a way to pay cash/check to avoid fees?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if you would like to pay via check you can mail it to:  Light Up Ahwatukee Association, 4435 E Chandler Blvd suite #200, Phoenix, AZ 85048. We must receive it by March 30th, 2025. If you are business, we can also arrange check pick up from one of our board members.

Are there designated driver tickets?

We love our designated drivers! Tickets are same price for all which also includes with meal ticket, casino cash, and live entertainment - enjoyable for all. We also have designated uber/lyft dropoff areas.
