Hear from local expert, Kevin Rosario, MBA who has over a decade of experience working in the prevention field focusing on Adverse Childhood Experiences. Hear up to date science about adolescent development and leave with tools to help support the teens in your life!Attendees will leave with an understanding of:

  • risk factors for teens
  • the vulnerability of the adolescent brain
  • the impact of self-esteem & peer pressure
  • how to help youth make well-informed decisions

Since July 2014, Safe Harbor Cohasset has promoted awareness and implement resources to help make an impact on substance misuse in our community. Safe Harbor Cohasset Coalition is a grant funded program of Safe Harbor Cohasset, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Our mission is to foster a strong and inclusive community that encourages educated and responsible choices about drug and alcohol use through collaborative programming and events. In doing so, we aim to reduce and prevent underage substance-use and addiction We are here to provide knowledge, provide youth with skills to refuse until they are of legal age, and encourage those who are of legal age to do so responsibly. We encourage setting a good example, and having open discussions about parental expectations.

We recognize that our youth need positive role models who are invested in their success. People who truly care and will work with them to strengthen their own unique character, will ultimately have the greatest impact.e character, will ultimately have the greatest impact.
