Learn about Wildlife Monitoring Opportunities

Join us as a volunteer for wildlife monitoring in Dubuque County! Help with butterfly, bee, and bird surveys, bat counts, and water quality monitoring.

By participating, you will help us gather valuable data about the species that inhabit our local parks.

On March 27th, we will host a virtual information session to provide more details about these projects and their specific requirements. Representatives from the Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation and the Midwest Save Our Streams Izaak Walton League of America will be present to share insights and answer any questions you may have.

Volunteering can be done individually or with family members, and we encourage participants of all backgrounds to get involved. If you're interested or would like more information, please reach out to naturalist Addy Schober at addy.schober@dubuquecountyiowa.com.

Join us in making a difference for our local wildlife!
