This event is a fundraiser for my nephew Toby, he is fighting his second bout of colon cancer at the young age of only 22!
My nephew, Toby was diagnosed with colon cancer at only age 19, he won his battle that time, but it came back twice as strong!
After thinking, he won his battle with cancer, his girlfriend and him decided to have a baby. Her name is Rowan, she's a beautiful little girl and is only three years old.
At age 22 the cancer came back twice as strong, Toby needed to have a major surgery in order to make it! Two months ago, he had to go to Philadelphia and have major surgery in order to try to save his life. Hopefully this surgery will do the job and he will be around for a long time, but that remains to be seen!
So obviously, this has been extremely stressful and hard on the family to say the very least!
So his family and friends decide to rally around him and form a Facebook page in which we can do fundraisers to help him support his family.
Toby was a full-time welder, but obviously cannot work any longer. He did have short-term disability that ran out in January and does not have an option for long-term disability. Hence this is why we decided to start this fundraising campaign in order to show him love,support and financial stability.
