HEI Corp.

HEI Corp is a data platform company dedicated to enhancing the safety and sustainability of electric vehicles. With a mission to create a "Greener Today and Safer Tomorrow," the company develops advanced software solutions for monitoring and managing the state of health (SOH) of EV batteries.

By offering a fast, efficient, and precise approach to preventive care and battery evaluation, HEI addresses increasing safety concerns in the evolving EV and infrastructure markets. Its technology helps conserve resources, reduce costs, and support a seamless transition to carbon-free roads.

Committed to innovation and impact, HEI is driving the future of electric mobility with a focus on reliability, efficiency, and sustainability.

Dr. Eunseok Lee is the Co-founder and CEO of HEI Corp, leading innovations in energy and sustainable technologies since 2021. Previously, he was a Principal Scientist at Mercedes-Benz R&D North America, a Postdoctoral Fellow at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, and an Assistant Professor at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Physics from Stanford University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Seoul National University. His expertise spans advanced materials, energy systems, and automotive innovation.

CryptoLab

The era of free use of data while protecting privacy is not yet here. Companies say privacy issues make it difficult to obtain the data needed to advance AI, and users are still concerned about privacy exposure. CryptoLab’s goal is to create a convenient and safe world by freely using data without worrying about our personal information being exposed.

CryptoLab is taking the lead in developing such private AI. Based on its outstanding technology and commercialization capability, in July 2022, CryptoLab attracted about $16 million in Series A investment from venture capitals such as Stonebridge Ventures, Altos Ventures, and Kiwoom Investment.

Jung Hee Cheon is a professor of mathematics in Seoul National University and the CEO of CryptoLab. He received his Ph.D. degrees in mathematics from KAIST and is working on computational number theory, cryptology, and information security.
He is a co-inventor of approximate homomorphic encryption HEaaN. He received a best paper award in Asiacrypt 2008 and Eurocrypt 2015, and was selected as Scientist of the month by the Korean government in 2018 and won the POSCO science prize in 2019 and the PKC Test-of-Time award in 2021. He received the Korean Order of Service Merit (Green Stripes, 2022) and is a member of the Korean Academy of Science and Technology. He is appointed as a fellow of IACR in 2023.

Apptest.ai
