About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours 30 minutes

This workshop is a condensed version of ScreenStrong's Kids’ Brains & Screens Course, which presents a basic overview of the science behind healthy brain development, the effects of screens on the developing brain, symptoms of screen overuse & solutions to prevent and reverse the effects of addictive screen habits. This event is for ages 18+.

How Screens & Electronics Impact Kid's Brains

The average child spends over fifty-two hours a week in front of electronic media. It is no longer a question why this has become the largest parenting challenge today. While recreational screens—video games, smartphones, social media—can be entertaining and fun, they are not designed with your child’s best interest in mind.

ScreenStrong empowers families to prevent screen addiction and reclaim their kids from problematic screen use. Solutions are not screen-free; rather, they replace toxic screen use with healthy activities, life skill development, and family connections.

Who Should Attend

Anyone who has a child in their life, whether you are a parent, educator, or caregiver. This event is only appropriate for ages 18 and up.
