This event is no longer meeting at the Visitor Center! It is meeting at Centennial Pavilion, which can be found on google maps.
Meet at the Centennial Pavilion in Riverview Park where tools and gloves will be provided as well as a quick lesson on how to remove some pesky invasive plants in the park. While it may be muddy, this is a great time of year to get off trail and tackle some of these plants before too much undergrowth fills in. Please be prepared for mud and brambles and dress appropriately. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn how to pitch in and help the ecosystems thrive in our parks!
The Centennial Pavilion can be found on google maps but doesn't a numbered address. Riverview Ave is the one way street that winds through the park. The Centennial Pavilion is much further down that street than the other amenities in the park, but before Riverview Ave loops back up towards the pool. we will be there near the road to greet you.
