About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

Join Enoch Pratt Free Library in welcoming the Baltimore Bird Club for an engaging and informative introductory birding lecture. Whether you're an outdoor enthusiast, looking for a new hobby, or someone simply curious about birds, this interactive lecture explores key topics such as bird identification, birding tools, and basic bird behaviors.

Participants will walk away with a feeling of appreciation for the natural world through a new lens, empowered for outdoor exploration, and a deeper connection with nature in their own backyard.

This lecture will happen in advance of three library-sponsored spring migration bird-watching walks. Participants are encouraged to join us for those walks as well. Below are links to those walks:

  • April 19th - Canton Branch
  • May 3rd - Govans Branch
  • May 17th - Southeast Anchor Branch
