Mike McCann is a veteran sponsorship and brand marketing strategist who has held leadership positions at global giants including Pepsi, Heineken, Harley-Davidson, Intel, and Amazon. In his most recent role as Amazon’s Head of Global Sponsorships, Mike led the multi-faceted partnership with the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), integrating efforts across four key Amazon business units: AWS, Prime Video, Licensed Merchandise, and Brand Marketing.
Mike’s sponsorship journey began at Pepsi, where he established the Pepsi Sports Group after signing partnerships with Jeff Gordon, Major League Baseball, Major League Soccer and US Soccer, all within a 10-month time frame. His extensive sports marketing experience spans marquee events and organizations such as the Olympic Games, NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, MLS, NWSL, PGA Tour, U.S. Soccer, NCAA, USTA, NASCAR, and NHRA.
A proud Georgetown University (BA) and University of Michigan (MBA) alumnus, Mike recently returned to the New York metropolitan area to launch Power10 Consulting. Power10 specializes in building AI literacy through accessible, jargon-free training designed specifically for non-technical professionals and organizations looking to leverage AI capabilities. His focus is simple: helping people see AI as a practical tool they can use today, not some mysterious technology of the future.
