Step into your legacy with confidence. This workshop is an immersive headshot and digital branding experience designed to equip attendees with the tools they need to build a powerful personal brand and tell their story with impact.

Participants will explore what legacy means to them, hear from a powerful panel of creative entrepreneurs, and engage in a breakout session focused on personal branding and digital strategy. The experience ends with professional headshots, offering each attendee a tangible asset to support their goals.

About the Presenter:

Catherine Nakato is a cultural producer, workshop facilitator, and founder of mYouSeeEm, a digital and immersive storytelling platform that centers art, culture, and connectivity across the Diaspora. With a background in Psychology and Sociology, Catherine blends lived experience, scholarship, and creativity to inspire others to step boldly into their legacy. Her work is rooted in faith, equity, and community—and she’s passionate about helping others disrupt the narrative and live with purpose.

We are about a 15-20 minute walk from the Red Line Harvard Square station or Green Line -B Harvard Avenue station.

Several MBTA buses also stop near the intersection of North Harvard Street and Western Avenue: #66, #86, #70.

Parking information:

If you choose to drive to the Ed Portal please be prepared to utilize the two-hour on-street parking surrounding the Ed Portal or to park at Artesani Park and walk 10-12 minutes along Western Avenue to arrive at the Ed Portal. A limited number of parking spaces are available in the rear of the Ed Portal building on a first come, first serve basis. You may only use parking spaces in the rear of the Ed Portal building outlined in orange paint.
