Go 1.3 miles and turn left on to Oyster Row Ln., then take the second right following signs to the Environmental Learning Center.

We split into 2 ages groups to complete the following activities. Please make sure you register accordingly for the age requirement.

Salt Marsh Field Study:

Join us for a muddy trek through the marsh to explore its importance and biodiversity. Students will use quadrats to replicate current research sampling methods while practicing species identification and data collection. Students will learn about adaptations of observed wildlife and human impacts on the salt marsh.

Oyster Community Investigation:

In this activity students will get the opportunity to see an oyster community first hand. They will get to see the different animals and organisms that call an oyster reef their home and identify them using provided resources.

After the program students can explore the Learning Center! Students will be able to explore the Learning Center using fun clues to learn more about what lives on our coast and what critters you might find.
