Day 1: Arrival and Orientation

Savannah Skyline Sunset (sunset 8:00 pm)
Capture the golden hour & sunset over the Savannah River, with views of the Savannah Skyline and historic buildings.
Explore long-exposure techniques as the city lights come on.

Day 2: Historic District & Squares
Cathedral Basilica of St. John
Photograph the stunning interiors and exteriors of this historic cathedral, with a focus on architectural details and lighting.
Colonial Park Cemetery
We’ll explore the cemetery, known as Savannah’s cemetery for more than a century and contains over nine thousand graves. Established in 1750.
Focus on composition and storytelling in photography, capturing the mood and history of the cemetery
Historic Squares & Homes
Photograph the famous squares of Savannah, beginning with Chippewa Square, Madison Square, and Monterey Square.
Focus on the historic homes, wrought-iron details, and the greenery that surrounds these areas.
Forsyth Park at Golden Hour & Night (golden hour about 7:00 pm)
Explore Forsyth Park, known for its iconic fountain, live oaks draped in Spanish moss, and beautiful walkways.
Explore long-exposure techniques of the fountain.
Focus on capturing the interplay of light and shadow, and details of the park's historic architecture and nature.
Day 3: Low Country Landscapes & Cemeteries
Sunrise at Tybee Island (sunrise 6:41 am)
Drive to Tybee Island to photograph the beach/pier during sunrise.
Practice seascape photography and long exposures as the sun rises.

Tybee Island Light Station, Georgia's Oldest and Tallest Lighthouse
Cockspur Lighthouse - Although not accessible by land, you can capture stunning views from Cockspur Island Beach.
Wormsloe Historic Site
Head to the Wormsloe Plantation for its famous avenue of oaks and historic ruins.
Focus on landscape photography and wide-angle shots, capturing the natural beauty and historical significance.
Bonaventure Cemetery
Explore the famous cemetery, known for its moss-draped oaks and historic gravestones.
Focus on composition and storytelling in photography, capturing the mood and history of the cemetery.
River Street
Capture the history & charm along River Street, with views of the Savannah River, cobblestone streets, and historic buildings.
Farewell dinner at a local restaurant.
