Take a Sunday morning hike with Jeff Vogelpohl: Refuge Friend and photographer. Known among many as "the otter whisperer" for his uncanny ability to find and photograph Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge's river otters, Jeff will show you his favorite spots and tips for viewing these elusive mammals. Who knows, you might just catch a glimpse yourself!

This hike will cover approximately 3 miles on gravel dike trails. Meet near the restrooms at the Visitor Center Parking Lot shortly before 8am.

This hike is free and open to the public.
