Carry The Load is a non-profit dedicated to providing active ways to honor and celebrate our nation's heroes by connecting Americans to the sacrifices made by military, veterans, first responders and their families.

We will be doing a Memorial May Walk or Kayak at Lake Fayetteville, May 24th at 10 am to remember, honor, and celebrate our nation's heroes by participating in the event and fundraising. Join our Team! Together, we can make a difference.

We currently have 16 (2 of which are tandem kayaks) in the fleet but can accommodate more with sufficient notice. Kayaking is only a small part of our events, the main goal is to give our participants an avenue for recurring activities, camaraderie and a lifelong social network with like-minded people.  Many participants fish from the bank or just enjoy a lazy day in the outdoors.

We are a local chapter of a national non-profit organization. We provide military members, veterans, first responders and their immediate family members a way to kayak, kayak fishing or fishing from the bank.; We provide everything needed; kayak, PFD, fishing pole, bait, drinks (non-alcohol) and lunch in the NW Arkansas area all for FREE!
