Welcome to the HealthEXP Think Tank Launch event! Let's come together to Build a Better Health EXPerience for all. Everyone knows the healthcare system should serve us--the patients--better, but the industry as a whole struggles with understanding the patient's health experience and focusing on improving that outcome. We can change that!

• Who should come? Whether you're a healthcare professional, tech enthusiast, or simply passionate about improving healthcare, this event is for you! We will need people from classic healthcare, plus the people innovating it, plus the people who are advocating for it.
• Why in Chicago? We have a great healthcare ecosystem here with world-class institutions, corporations and startups. PLUS, the Midwest is the epicenter of Market Research - the disclipline we will use to better document, map, benchmark and improve the patient experience.
• Why now? 1st, healthcare is already going through its digital transformation. 2nd, the rise of digital health startups are creating solutions for the preventative and chronic care. 3rd, acute care is shifting towards a "hospital-in-the-home" model. Combined, this gives all of us as patient-consumers more control and decision rights over our health.
• What is the initial focus? We will first focus on generating insights into the patient health experience via consumer journey maps and interviews. This will give us new information and benchmarks to share with the industry. Once we know the experiences today, we can design better, more ideal ones and use them to influence the industry to shift to a better place for us and our loved ones as current/future patients.
