The Happy Hour Piano Series: Noah Baerman

Jazz pianist and composer Noah Baerman has written the book on jazz piano—literally. He’s the author of nine books on the subject. Noah has also released ten albums and has appeared on the weekly radio show Piano Jazz on NPR. Noah's personal struggles with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) have given his music a distinctive depth and edge.His musical collaborators include Wayne Escoffery, Nadje Noordhuis, Linda May Han Oh, Ike Sturm, Jimmy Greene, Robin Eubanks, and Warren Smith.

The centerpiece of the gallery is the monumental indoor mural—120 feet long and five stories high—that celebrates American workers and the spirit of collaboration. With three tiers of space for mingling, viewing, and listening, the happy hour is immersive and inspiring.

The Happy Hour Piano Series continues every fourth Friday, showcasing a variety of talented regional pianists and musical genres.

Does my ticket include admission to the mural exhibit?

All tickets include access to all three levels to view the mural, but the experience will not include tours, audio guides, video presentations, or placards. We recommend that you come early for the full mural experience. Visit the website for details: americanmuralproject.org/visit.

Is parking free?

What is served at the cash/credit bar?

Yes, all three levels and the restrooms are wheelchair accessible. There are a limited number of accessible spaces in the parking lot. Please call for details. We’d be happy to assist you.
