Join us for the next Goodwill Business Advisory Council (BAC) meeting on Thursday, April 3, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Goodwill Career Center at 1616 Patton Avenue, Asheville.

Speaker: Dave Michelson – Chief Product Officer, UNC Asheville's National Environmental Mapping and Applications Center (NEMAC)

Before Hurricane Helene, resilience efforts by groups like the National Environmental Mapping and Applications Center (NEMAC) focused on supplying data to local governments to drive action. Post-Helene, NEMAC has emphasized that resilience requires coordinated action across community organizations, state agencies, and regional partners. By aligning efforts and fostering collaboration, communities can better respond to future challenges like Helene.

Come learn how you are the missing piece to building resilience in western North Carolina.
