Gentle Yin yoga with Nicole.

Nicole has a deep understanding of how natural healing practices are key to achieving balance and optimal health, allowing the mind, body, and spirit to align. The tools and techniques she integrates into each personalized session have been transformative in her own healing journey. Through her experiences, Nicole discovered her passion for guiding others toward their own path of healing, helping them achieve both inner and physical alignment for vibrant health. Nicole is a Reiki Master, a 200-hour certified Yoga Instructor (RYT 200), and a Licensed Massage Therapist.

Gentle Yin Yoga emphasizes mindfulness, making it ideal for beginners, those recovering from injury, or anyone looking to de-stress and cultivate a sense of calm. It’s less about physical intensity and more about nurturing the body and mind. The class typically starts with a calming warm-up, such as seated stretches or breathing exercises, to center the mind and body. The poses are held for longer periods, allowing the practitioner to deeply relax into each one, with options for modifications and support like props (blocks, straps, blankets) to ensure comfort. The flow is usually slow and controlled, with a focus on proper alignment and breath awareness. Poses might include gentle stretches, supported backbends, and seated or lying postures that encourage deep stretching and relaxation. The class often ends with a soothing savasana (final resting pose) to bring a sense of peace and tranquility.
