ABOUT THE EVENT

In March we're reading and discussing Why We Sleep: Unlocking the Power of Sleep and Dreams by Matthew Walker (2017). Let's explore not only why sleep is crucial for our well-being and productivity, but also how we can make it better. Feel free to bring any research or insights on the topic that will contribute to the discussion of all thing sleep!

Neuroscientist and sleep expert Matthew Walker provides a revolutionary exploration of sleep, examining how it affects every aspect of our physical and mental well-being. Charting the most cutting-edge scientific breakthroughs, and marshalling his decades of research and clinical practice, Walker explains how we can harness sleep to improve learning, mood and energy levels, regulate hormones, prevent cancer, Alzheimer's and diabetes, slow the effects of aging, and increase longevity. He also provides actionable steps towards getting a better night's sleep every night.

See you on 23 March, Sunday, 9:00 am PDT / 12:00 pm EDT / 4:00 pm GMT / 5:00 CEDT. We're looking forward to connecting with you and exchanging our opinions, insights, experience with and knowledge on the subject of the book and everything related. Join the discussion!
