Purpose

We'll enjoy a guided walk through Peck Road Water Conservation Park, followed by a planting activity at Arroyo High School. We will host a sensory workshop to reflect on air quality and its impact on our health. Come connect with nature!

Role

Explore the park on a guided walk and learn about native plants and their role in supporting the environment and air quality. Get your hands dirty by helping plant flowers, and enjoy the space to share your reflections on air in our workshop.

Organized by

Blue Sky LA, a partnership between Breathe Southern California and Climate Cents, is an ongoing initiative dedicated to funding local projects to drastically improve the air quality of Los Angeles by the 2028 Olympics. Through projects big and small, from tree planting, urban gardens, compost hubs, cool roofs, green roofs, solar, and many other strategies – Blue Sky LA is building community engagement to support and implement these projects in the communities that suffer the worst air quality, which affects us all. Volunteer with us!
