Looking for a fun and engaging activity for your child this summer? Gainesville Martial Arts & Combatives has you covered!

Our day-camp is for kids ages 4-12, is a dynamic program designed around the fundamentals of martial arts, in a fun, safe and supportive environment.

Each day camp attendees will recieve a basic martial arts skills lesson, engage in a "Black Belt Character" exercise covering principles such as self-discipline, focus, respect, humility, as well as participate in fun and exciting games that build confidence, coordination, balance, and strength.

Beverages and Snacks provided.

Camp hours: Monday-Friday, Noon-4pm

Frequently asked questions

Will my child engage in sparring ?

Attendees will not engage in any kind of sparring.

What styles of martial arts will my child learn

Attendees will receive a daily martial arts fundamentals lesson, learning basic kicks and punches, all exercised on punching bags. They will also learn basic performance weapons forms using foam/training weapons and will build their own show routines.

What other activities will my child participate in during the day?

Games such as "ninja obstacle course", pad hockey, live-action versions of popular video games such as Mario Party, Summer Snowball Fight, Takashi's Castle, all designed to build coordination, strength, team-work and good sportsmanship.

Do you provide lunch?

We provide healthy light snacks and beverages. We encourage campers to eat a late breakfast or early lunch before camp. We have a water bottle filling station, so a water bottle is a must.
