Come join A Paddle; For Hunger for a Pink Moon Paddle in Manasquan, NJ 08736. We will launch from the baseball fields and paddle around the glimmer glass through the moon rise.
Paddlers will meet at 6:00 pm for a quick pre-paddle meeting to familiarize themselves with the area, tide expectations, markers, and other plans.
The paddle begins near the north-end, heads northwest around Stockton Lake and continues through the canal to the drawbridge and out to the entrance of the Manasquan Inlet to view the moonrise over the water.
All kayaks are welcome; however, they must have an attached white running light, must wear a PFD at all times. Paddlers should dress for the weather and possible immersion.
We ask for a small at-will donation or paper cups, plates, or napkins to help our mission of – Paddle… Float… Feed.. to offset the costs of this event.
Boat Requirements: -
- 10 foot kayaks or longer
- No inflatables/foldables
- PADDLECRAFT MUST HAVE AT LEAST ONE WHITE LIGHT.
This is a bring your own boat (BYOB) event.
NO TRAILERS.
