About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

5-time founder. 3 FDA approvals. 2 IPOs. 2 acquisitions. 500,000+ patients helped.

Michael Ackermann has drawn on his bioengineering training, his mastery of the biodesign innovation process, his knack for identifying opportunities to repurpose existing technologies, and his ability to collaborate effectively with others to craft an impressive career. One of the first alumni to apply the Biodesign process to biopharma innovation, Ackermann now serves as director of biotechnology at Stanford Biodesign, exposing fellows to different toolkits in the biopharma industry, as well as the perspectives of payers and regulators on biopharmaceuticals.

Join us on March 10 and learn more about Ackermann's incredible innovation journey, what inspires him, the struggles and failures he's encountered, the traits that have fueled his advancement, and what excites him most about the Biodesign process as a tool for biopharmaceutical innovation.
