On Saturday, April 12th, Middlebury Baseball and the Jack Langerman Community Foundation are partnering to top off a great Middlebury weekend with an evening of good food, ample drink and great company.
For those who didn't know Jack (Middlebury '19.5), he was a vital part of the Middlebury Baseball family who lived more in his 24 short years than most do in 80. He seized every moment he was given, and loved nothing more than connecting others and bringing good people together. The Jack Langerman Community Foundation was established in Jack's honor to give back to the many communities that gave so much to him, and to create new ones from the passions and principles that defined him. So many of those revolved around Middlebury, around baseball, and around the indelible friendships forged by both, and that in turn provides the pillars upon which Jack's legacy stands (for more information please visit www.jacklangermanfoundation.org).
Tickets are $25 and include a buffet dinner, the chance to bid on great raffle items and the Vermont debut of the latest edition of Known and Loved, a special beer brewed in honor of a special guy by Greg Engert (Middlebury '02), the owner of award-winning Bluejacket Brewery in Washington, DC.
We hope to see you there, and look forward to celebrating together!
