Ending homelessness is possible and you can help! Friends innovative, nationally-recognized' Housing & Career Start-up Fund does just that by removing the final barriers to housing and independence for our vulnerable neighbors who struggle on our streets and in shelters. Once housed, people are connected with the supports and opportunities they need to live the hopeful, peaceful, and fulfilling lives we all want to live.

Now more than ever we know why this work is so critical. Since 2009, Friends has helped over 5,000 people move into safe, stable housing (31% slept in places not meant for human habitation prior to being housed) and rebuild their lives. The best news is, today over 90% remain in their homes and have not returned to homelessness. And, our community is saving over $11,000 per person annually in health care and public safety costs alone when someone is housed rather than living on our streets and in shelters – providing a dignified, successful, and cost-effective solution to homelessness. This year, we expect to help over 500 more of our vulnerable neighbors move from the streets and shelters into permanent housing and connect to vital services and opportunities to live hopeful, peaceful futures. We need you to help achieve this. Please join us and let's end homelessness with warm hearts - and homes - for all! Learn more at www.fobh.org
