In-person Workshop Series

This workshop will include a variety of topics to help you have a healthy pregnancy journey, including:

  1. Understanding the Pregnant Body and Blood Sugar Control in Pregnancy
  2. Nutrition and Meal Planning for Pregnancy
  3. Gestational Diabetes, Managing Stress with Mindful Movement and Meal Prep

Instructors:

Chef Abbie Gellman, MS RD CDN is a spokesperson, recipe and product developer, author, educator, and Director of Teaching Kitchen and Culinary Medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital; she creates, produces, and hosts cooking and nutrition videos and works with a wide variety of food companies/brands/commodity boards, foodservice operators, health professionals, and private clients.

SBH Teaching Kitchen: The mission of the Teaching Kitchen is to teach the community and medical professionals how to prepare meals that are easy, delicious, affordable, and nutritious. The Teaching Kitchen aims to keep people out of the hospital, enhance quality of life, and lower the cost of healthcare by providing affordable healthy cooking classes.
