De-stress by engaging all of your senses to reconnect with nature on this mindful evening walk around the park facilitated by UF/IFAS Environmental Education & Outreach Agent Zahir Ringgold. During a mostly silent, meditative walk, you will have the opportunity to enjoy peaceful, intentional time to connect with yourself and the beautiful coastal ecosystem protected by The Bay. In studies conducted around the world, researchers have found an association between spending intentional time in natural areas with trees and water features, and positive benefits to mental and physical health. Find tranquility within nature and get healthier along the way!
What to Bring/ Wear: Dress comfortably for an evening walk along the water, and bring a towel, yoga mat, or folding chair to sit on during the optional seated meditation portion at the end of the walk.
