Join local artist Mindy Flexer to celebrate mother earth and Mother's Day with a
FLOWER POWER MAKE-IN!at Mindy's studio, 5225 Greene Street. You can see directions here: https://www.mindyflexerart.com/contact, and see more about Mindy at www.mindyflexerart.com.At this family-friendly event, we will be using paper, wire and other simple materials to make the flowers of Wissahickon Valley Park. You and yours are invited to make some flowers to take home, and some flowers to contribute to Walk in the Wissahickon, an immersive, floor-to-ceiling installation of the Wissahickon that will be in Woodmere Art Museum's Millard Children's Gallery this September. Making other plants and critters that live in the Wissahickon will also be an option. Come enjoy the spring with us by falling in love with our local flowers!

This in person crafting event will be hosted at Mindy's Art studio on May 4th from 2-4pm.

Mindy Flexer is a local artist and a long time Weavers Way Co-op member. She hosts wonderul workshops for the community, delightful crafting moments for friends of all ages.
