About this event

Join us for First Friday Write - a virtual blanket fort where we will massage our heart space with poetry and music to write with wild abandon. This experience will be the opposite of your high school or college English class. We will inhale honesty and imperfection. And exhale the catharsis that delivers us into our story. Writing is GOOD MEDICINE.

During our 60 minute one and done sessions, we will utilize poetry, prose and/or music to warm the waters as we write 2 pieces. We will set a timer for 8-10 minutes, kicking the inner critic to the curb. Like a rinse cycle, we write, share and repeat.

What To Expect

An Online Writing Blanket Fort with a compassionate and energetic Facilitator who will meet the first Friday of each month from 12 - 1 pm PT. This is perfect for those that crave to make writing a practice but logistically cannot travel far from home, or don't have much free time. First Friday Writing allows us to say yes to the next thought, word, or emotion. ALL without fear of judgement. No experience is needed! Our group will be a intimate container of 8.

Praise for Writing with Michelle

"It always amazes me what comes out of my pen when writing like . And how it is echoed and expanded in the writing of others. Afterwards I always feel heard, seen, understood and with new energy for whatever lies ahead of me. " - Nicole Kleemann

"We are all writers and story-tellers in our own way, the key to opening that door lies in feeling safe enough, comfortable enough, and brave enough to put the pen to paper. Daily writing, in this type of format, helps break down the walls of worry granting us the freedom to write the stories within us." - Kelly Kemmerly

"I have never felt more excited about my work and love that I can get needs met with your programs. It's really helping me!" - L.B.
