What is Dark MOON Medicine...?
Every month, there is a Lunar portal opening... in which the UNIVERSE offers us an opportunity, the few days leading upto the NEW MOON, it is a time of rebirth and renewal... preceding a time of death. We have have an opportunity to let go... to release consciously what no longer serves us and to comune into the womb of the Holy Dark.
In our society, we have lost our connection with the transformational alchemical powers of the Great Mother-SOURCE... and many times we fear darkness. Yet in the darkness is where all possibilities are born from... as the stars birthed in the night sky or the baby born in the dark of the womb. We cannot birth something into existence... until we have made room by releasing and dying to the old.
During this night... we will focus on releasing, dissolving resting in the Holy Dark- Mother-- where we access our Soul... and rest and regenerate. During this portal we have the opportunity to release and dissolve all that has been weighing on us-- emotionally... physically and mentally... and open ourselves up to the wisdom for new threads to be woven in our life.
During this Dark MOON Medicine Ritual, we will focus on the monthly theme of the New Moon astrological sign-- Taurus and the wisdom it is activating forus to embody. Naturally, it is an opportunity to dissolve all the 'patterns' that prevent us from the qualities of this NEW MOON sign of Taurus, Feminine embodiment, pleasure and sensuality.
The Medicine of the Lunar cycles... and especially the Dark MOON is ancient Feminine spiritual practices-- part of the mysteries and wisdom of the Feminine. Our ancestors knew this-- and we can tap into these Feminine spiritual practices to come into greater alignment, healing and empowerment for ourselves and our planet.
