We are excited to invite you to our wintertime farmers market at our headquarters in Providence. The largest indoor farmers market in New England, you'll enjoy a rich selection of local farm and food vendors at our custom-built facility.

Our vendor selection varies each season; see below for our current lineup. Please note that pets are not allowed inside per Health Department regulations.

This market accepts cash, credit/debit, WIC, SNAP/EBT, and Bonus Bucks. To receive a Senior Farmers Market Bulk Purchase Produce box, learn more from the RI DEM.

Bring your residential food scraps for composting—no fee to you! Please drop off only compostable materials into the compost collection bins, located toward the back of the Farm Fresh parking lot (by the loading docks!) — for pickup by the good folks at ReMix Organics Co.. (On Saturdays during the farmers market, 9am-1pm, we pull the bins out toward the building entrance, but you are welcome to drop off any time.)

*Please be sure to follow these guidelines for what can/cannot be composted. (Even a small produce sticker can mean the whole batch of compost must be discarded, so please read the guidelines before dropping off your food scraps!)

Tickets are not required for this event.

Where can I park?

We have two parking lots. Both are accessible via Sims Ave, or Kinsley Ave. As a result of ongoing construction on Kinsley Ave, we recommend accessing Sims via Harris Ave, and parking at the Farm Fresh parking lot, or the Charlotte Hope plaza.

What forms of payment can I use at the market?

This market accepts cash, credit/debit, WIC, SNAP/EBT, Bonus Bucks, and Fresh Bucks.

The path food travels — the food system — includes everything from growing and harvesting to processing, packaging, transporting, selling, eating, and disposing of food. The mission of Farm Fresh RI is to grow that system to be sustainable and healthy for both the farmers and eaters in our region. We offer farmers markets and transparent enterprise systems that help farmers, fishers, and food businesses in the Northeast reach more customers. And we work with the community through outreach, incentives, and educational programs to increase the accessibility and affordability of fresh, local foods.
