Farm Drop Ins

Morning -- 9AM to 10AM

Saturday Morning 3/29 Farm Drop In! (2.5 years to Kindergarten)

Drop in on the farm to see what's going on! Help us out with morning chores and have a bit of fun in the process.

Join the farmers to feed the animals their breakfast! Let’s work together to give them hay, grain, and fresh water. And after the chores are done? Explore all that the farm, fields and forest have to offer! Get a quick look at what our longer programs are like in a short, hour-long snapshot. Be sure to dress warmly as we will be outside and in the barn for the entire hour. We recommend hats, gloves, boots and snow pants!

Ages 2.5 to 5 years

Parents/caregivers are free to leave for the hour long session, or join in on the fun! Parents/caregivers do not need to purchase an additional ticket.

Saturday 3/29 9:00am -10:00am

Chip-In Farm was named in 1944 when members of the Couvee family “chipped in” to purchase a small farm in Bedford. A visit to the farm today brings you back to a simpler time when food was local and farms were family run. The Farmer's Helpers program offers an authentic, process-based, and hands-on farm experience for the next generation. Through Farmer's Helpers participants are given the chance to develop confidence, build community, and learn to become better stewards of their land and environment.
