About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Living the life of a writer is about discovery — of voice, ideas, and new possibilities. In this workshop, we’ll dive into how exploration can fuel engagement and deepen writing. You’ll learn ways to encourage students to try new genres, take creative risks, and follow their curiosity. Let’s create a culture of playful, purposeful exploration together.

Frequently asked questions

What do I need to participate?

Please come with a way to write down ideas — this could mean having a notebook, paper, a writing utensil, or a digital way to capture ideas.

Do I need any experience as a writer to attend this workshop?

Nope! All teachers are welcome. We’ll meet you where you are.

Will I need to share my writing?

There will be opportunities to share BUT you always have the right to pass. If you prefer not to share your own writing, you can share your thoughts about the learning…but again, only if you want to. You always have the right to pass.
