At COTS, we always love presenting wonderful musicians from throughout New York and beyond. For our 24/25 season finale, phenom bassoonist Nanci Belmont joins Artistic Director Benjamin Larsen, and some of our favorite COTS artists for the rousing close to our 13th season of Concerts on the Slope.

St. John's Episcopal Church is located at 139 St. John's Place in Park Slope, Brooklyn. The church is a short walk from the Q (7th Avenue), 2 and 3 trains (Grand Army Plaza).

Is there parking at the venue?

There is limited street parking available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Who is Nicky Sohn?

"Houston's coolest composer," Nicky Sohn is our 2024/25 Composer in Residence. Throughout the season, we will present a wide range of Nicky's music. These performances include world premieres and a variety of instrumentations. You can read more about Nicky and her work at NickySohn.com.

What's your "Composer in Residence" program all about?

Each season, Artistic Director Benjamin Larsen selects a Composer in Residence to be heavily featured through the year. In addition to premieres, we present a wide range of their catalog. These newer works are paired with classical favorites to offer a dynamic concert experience to our audiences.
