Shadow Work is what we call it in the spiritual world of evolution. And we know that change starts from within. The problem is we work so much, get easily distracted with social media, being on call 24/7, family, appointments, shopping and making new friends…. what did I forget? Oh, and anything fun is almost out the window unless you have a day off that no one is calling you to gossip!

For decades, we’ve blamed society, politics, and circumstances for our struggles. Then there we are at the therapist every week only to talk the same story, unless you have a good one and you get homework. But true peace comes from facing and healing the inner war within each of us. I am speaking about addressing your trauma, inner child wounding and issues with your parents. Let’s also mention the society of programming and your belief systems and all the brainwashing that comes from outside world occurrences. It’s the only way but, you have to be willing to dive deep. You have to be willing to do the work. You have to make time. You have to change the inner world to see your outerworld change.

Where do you see yourself here?

For many years, I experienced an inner conflict, a silent battle between my traumatized inner child and the darker aspects of myself. As a Healthcare administrator for over 3 decades-I made the money, I had the home, I had the car, I had stability and lived “the dream”, well that is what society told me. Inside, I was ridden with stress, turned to addictive vices, feelings of loneliness, and bitterness. It’s like people actually thought being on call 24/7 and no break was actually normal. You get my drift? My days off, I was catching up on sleep and running errands or seeing family. No wonder I had no energy to do anything. This inner war affected every part of my life until I discovered the power of shadow work and how to heal on deeper levels to find inner balance.
