End of Winter Kickball!

End of Winter Warrior Kickball was created specifically with individual players in mind--no need to pay for a whole team and beg your hesitant friends to join! All players are registered as individuals. Teams will be assigned the day prior to the event, and we'll play a minimum of 2 games. The grand prize? Having fun!

Whether you are a beginner or an expert kickballer, this event is all about allowing everyone to play in a non-competitive, fun environment. Why? Because at West Town Social Club, we're all about having a good time! This event will be co-ed, so that everyone has a chance to play.

Most standard recreational kickball rules will apply, and the rules will be sent in detail via email prior to the event. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions (ideally, prior to the event).

AFTER PARTY: A fun post-tournament celebration will take place after the games finish at My Buddy's, just down the street from the park!

While we hope to make this an absolutely fun and memorable outing, there are a handful of important, not-so-fun things to note. Please see below:

AGE REQUIREMENT: All participants must be at least 21 years old to participate. Proof of age may be requested by the organizer on the day of the event; please bring identification in case. Those who register and cannot show proof of age will be denied participation in the tournament and will NOT be refunded.

ALCOHOL: The Chicago Park District strictly prohibits ANY alcohol consumption in city parks. If you are caught consuming alcohol during participation during this event, you will be asked to properly dispose of your beverage. Any further alcohol consumption witnessed during the event will result in being asked to leave and could potentially result in being banned from future West Town Social Club events. Please do not ruin the chances of us having another tournament by consuming alcohol in the park; there are plenty of great establishments nearby to pregame (that being said, please don't show up heavily intoxicated--you may be asked to sit out until you sober up or to go home if there's serious concern for your well-being) and also to party afterwards. Additionally, we have a great sponsor bar in My Buddy's for our after party!

REFUND POLICY: No refunds will be issued except in the event of a non-weather related cancellation. However, event credit may be issued on a case-by-case basis up to 14 days prior to the tournament. Additionally, if weather causes this outing to be postponed, those who are unable to attend on the rescheduled date will receive credit towards future West Town Social Club events if they notify the organizer within 48 hours

WAIVER: All participants will be asked to sign a digital waiver prior to arrival, agreeing that West Town Social Club will not be held liable for any injuries and/or illness associated with participating in kickball. Failure to sign this waiver will result in participation being denied with no refund being issued.

WEATHER POLICY: We will do our best to play in whatever weather is presented to us! Since we will be playing on an artificial turf field, field conditions should not preclude us from playing. In the event that inclement weather prevents play, the tournament will be rescheduled to a later date. Any decisions related to game play will be at the sole discretion of the organizer.
