Facing Bias in the Medical System

Healthy Start Brooklyn is hosting a safe space for individuals who have experienced bias in the medical system.


We will provide a supportive environment to:

  • Share stories
  • Validate each other's experiences
  • Work together towards healing

Whether it is discrimination based on race, gender or any other factor, we're here to foster understanding, empowerment, and advocacy in the face of systemic challenges.

Instructor Bio:

Kathie Alli - Crisis Counselor with trauma-informed practice training, working towards her MSW. She has advocated for veterans in the past and has extensive experience in holistic health and resilience strategy.
