This is a class geared toward beginning horse enthusiasts. We use ponies for our instruction. This is a one day class that will focus on the age groups of 3-5 year olds, 6-8 year olds, and 9 and up. These sessions are dedicated to learning the basics of horsemanship. The children will get to ride, but most importantly, safety, grooming, and horse terminology will be introduced. There will be pony a related craft. A small snack will be provided. Parents are welcome to participate, especially with the younger group, but not required. A detailed schedule of the day will be sent out to the attendees prior to the event. A certificate of completion will be provided to your child. There is a minimum number of participants needed to hold the class. Class is held April 5 10AM -12PM. If inclement weather, the class will be rescheduled to April 6.

11:30-12 Egg hunt at the farm and meet and greet with the Easter Bunny

A little about our instructors... Ms. Lipovsky is the owner of Hogback Mountain Pony Rides. She has been around horses her whole life. She has a masters degree in education. Ms. Lipovsky is first aid and cpr certified.
