Is a passport and a visa needed for travel?

Yes, a valid passport and a visa are needed for travel. If you are in possession of a U.S. passport, visas are needed. If not, please check with your respective consulate/embassy. Please ensure that your passport will not expire within 6 months of you traveling.

Will a Covid PCR test be needed prior to entering Rwanda/Uganda?

No

Is a PCR/Antigen test needed prior to leaving Rwanda/Uganda?

Not for U.S. passport holders. For all others passport holders, please check with your respective consulate/embassy.

Will I be picked up and dropped off at the airport?
