Earth Day Yoga + Nervous System Reset
Event: Earth Day Yoga + Nervous System Reset
The intention of this event will be to reconnect to nature and to your VIBRANCY! We will release the stagnant energy of the long, cold winter and ground our nervous systems through:
Journal Prompt
Sage Smudging
Pranayama (breath-work)
A short Vinyasa practice including Sun Salutations and Moon Salutations.
Restorative Yoga, followed by a grounding meditation and Sandalwood aromatherapy.
Ending with a homemade Blue Lotus iced tea and reflections.
No experience necessary. All are welcome!
WHAT TO BRING:
- Yoga mat or whatever you choose to practice on.
- Journal or notepad and something to write with.
- Blanket or Towel.
- Any crystals, stones or other items that bring you comfort and/or a sense of grounding.
- Wear comfortable clothing you can move around in with ease.
WHERE TO MEET?
We will meet at the entrance of the Park, just after the drawer bridge starting at 4:45pm and walk to our location in the grass by 5. We will be settled and ready to begin by 5:15. Please give yourself time to meet up as you may have a hard time finding us if you are late. If you park at Neptune Park, it's a shorter walk to our meeting point. If you park at Glens parking lot it's about a 6 minute walk.
