Dunamis is a Greek word that means "power," "potential," or "ability". This is where we get the word Dynamite!!!
In the Bible, it is used to describe HOLY GHOST power that comes from God and enables His people to perform MIRACLES!!
Dunamis is:
Inherent power: A power that is inherent to a person or thing, or that they exert
Power for miracles: The power to perform miracles
Moral power: The power to do morally excellent acts
Power of wealth: The power and influence that comes with riches
Power of numbers: The power and resources that come from numbers
Power of armies: The power that comes from armies, forces, or Heavenly hosts.
