Join us in celebrating Dumfries' 276th anniversary with a book swap, right next to the town's colonial-era bookshop owned by one of the most influential authors of the 1800s! Parson Mason Locke Weems was the first biographer of George Washington, and even wrote the famous cherry tree story!
