Celebrate the High Line’s 15th birthday by learning and making with us during our Dream Wild Family Art Workshops! Join us for hands-on learning and creative art-making on the park as we explore the extraordinary garden designs of Piet Oudolf. Engage in imaginative play by visiting our touch table to collaborate on a community garden design.

Join us for a Family Art Workshop featuring special guest UnLocal. Deepen your creativity through art-making with High Line Teaching Artists, while discovering the unique garden designs of Piet Oudolf, and celebrate BIPOC stories of resilience, prosperity, and joy with UnLocal’s presentation of Nuestros Libros.

Nuestros Libros invites BIPOC authors to lead a readathon, highlighting stories centering on experiences of migrating and being undocumented to foster inclusivity. Local authors will host reading circles tailored for toddlers, ages 8 – 12, and young adults. Participants can showcase their creative expression by sharing during an open mic session. Families can explore a variety of multilingual books from independent NYC bookstores, the New York Public Library, and a community bookshelf offering free take-home books. Free gift for families while supplies last. This date features activities for ages 3-12.
