Please join us for a night of incredible music with THE COOKERS - featuring an all-star group of living legends with Eddie Henderson (trumpet), David Weiss (trumpet), Azar Lawrence (tenor sax), Craig Handy (alto sax), George Cables (piano), Cecil McBee (bass), and Billy Hart (drums)!

In addition, Waynesboro and Chambersburg High School Jazz Bands will be performing earlier in the day.

4:30 PM - WASHS and CASHS student jazz bands perform

7:00 PM - THE COOKERS

Exit and re-entry is permitted with a wristband.

WASHS auditorium is a beautiful space with excellent acoustics and plenty of comfortable seats. Whatever time you arrive, you are sure to find excellent seats.

Is this venue ADA accessible?

Yes! WASHS auditorium is fully ADA compliant and wheelchair accessible.

Will I still be able to find a good seat if I arrive closer to 7 PM to see The Cookers?

WASHS auditorium is a beautiful and spacious facility with plenty of comfortable seats and excellent acoustics. Whatever time you arrive, rest assured you will find great seats with good visibility in which to enjoy the music. Exit and re-entry is permitted with a wristband.

May I bring food and drink to the venue?

No. Food and drink is not permitted inside the auditorium, and no alcohol is permitted inside the high school. However, there are several fine restaurants and breweries in downtown Waynesboro which you can visit before the event!

It is one of many events and initiatives organized by the Arts Alliance of Greater Waynesboro which include visual arts at our Gallery 50, free live music every Friday at our Music Makers community arts center, and other workshops, classes and activities in our area.
