Join us for our online panel discussion "Demystifying Indigenous Hunting" on Tuesday, April 1 at 7:00 PM MT! Brian Seesequasis (Beardy's and Okemasis' Cree Nation) and Shirley Wolfe-Keller (Muskowekwan and Fishing Lake First Nations) will share hunting experiences and perspectives, while TLSN member and rancher Tom Harrison will talk about what it's been like to share the land with Indigenous hunters. Moderated by Michelle Brass (Yellow Quill First Nation), this is an opportunity to learn about the reality of Indigenous hunting on the prairies, challenge stereotypes, and discuss how our network can be as inclusive to Indigenous hunting as possible.

The Treaty Land Sharing Network is a group of rural landholders and Indigenous people who have come together to affirm and implement Treaty relationships. In the spirit of sharing the land, we work to make it safer and easier for Indigenous people to access land to practice their way of life in the prairies of Treaties 4 and 6. We are committed to engaging in ongoing learning about our shared histories and responsibilities as Treaty people living on these lands. To access land or to join the network, visit our website.
